For you newcomers, I had my defective old cataract eyes repaired with modern acrylic lenses about a year ago. I am still amazed and thankful. I was nearly blind. I couldn't see the lane markers on the freeways. It was done down in Tijuana, Mexico. Those docs did a great job. I can see close up with my right eye, and in the distance with my left eye. Thank god for modern medicine. I like to paint, and I can't focus sharply up close, so I got glasses for that, but otherwise, I don't need glasses at all.
