Check this one out:

I am aware that some guys out there feel provoked by any discussion that doubts the First Law of Thermodynamics, but such reading is not meant for them either.

Here another site that puts a focus on Bessler:

Well, True Kaiser, I knew that you fall in the category that screems the loudest. I am not a defender of either camp but enjoy to think outside the box.

Quote:"It is amazing that in the sub micro world of the atom quantum
physics requires the perpetual motion of particles both as to spin
and orbital motions. In the macro world, science is based on the law that a perpetual motion machine is absolutely impossible. "

A perpetum mobile devised in 1712 by wood... I don't think so.

and using statements like:
"Scientists say they can explain why the unbalanced wheel cannot turn itself. Let us remember that these same scientists can also prove that a bumble bee cannot fly."

doesn't really help their cause, now, does it

I'm in favor of open-minded scepticism about such things:

As soon as someone can show me a working prototype, and let me play with it on my workbench, to verify its claims, I'll believe they have something interesting.

I'm still waiting....

The Musemum of unworkable devices:
http://www.lhup.edu/~dsimanek/museum/unwork.htm

Hey, either one loves the whole subject and dives in or one stays out and "sober". There is no middle ground just as a Perpetuum Mobile that "nearly" works is none.

From my point of view and as should be clear to every Peakoiler, there is no way out of our situation, we might as well try the impossible.

Actually, bumble bees can fly according ot science. That was some comment made by some idiot about 50 years ago.
