No red light saber for me, I just like hanging out with my pal HK47 and using my mindpower to make Zalbar kill Mission.

Back on topic meatbags,

I wouldn't need a brigade to defend my stuff, because it is burried all over my yard in small allotments. If nobody know's I have food, they don't break down my door to get it. If someone breaks down my door, they find a small portion.

I not saying religon is wrong, I am just saying it is wrong for me. I have this ability to see reality for what it is, and to think for myself. I don't need a book to tell me what to do or how to live.

You are my new hearth goddess...

sciencegirl is the truth & the light, and those who believe in her shall not perish, but enjoy eternal life.

Do I get virgins with this package?

'Cause if I do, I'd like to trade em in for 1 smart girl without daddy issues please.

Thank you for recogizing me as a Hearth Goddess, Aaron. It makes me feel bubbly and happy inside. I want to do the dance of joy.

As for me, I place logic over religon any day of the week.

You have my undieing devotion...

Unless that means actually doing something of course... or it happens to be something I wanna do anyway.

I think I'm gonna like worshiping you SG... at least you respond when spoken to.

I hope you'll understand that I also worship HawkMan as my saviour.

And all those other guys too like Jesus & Alah & Aquaman... Just covering the bases ya know?

But you will now & forever remain my Hearth Goddess... (unless you piss me off, then I'll pray to HawkMan to take you away into his sky-fortress)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I')n regards to your food and gold cache you may want to throw in a couple armored brigades, cause there is going to be a whole lot of people knocking at your door.

In regards to "Left Behind" Christians Tim Lahaye is just as nutty as Mike Ruppert.

Can't figure PO'rs out, mull about the end of the world and anyone offering a solution about the inevitable is ridiculed.

I don't know about you, clueless, but when society collapses and the hordes of starving people arrive at my door or whatever they can take whatever they want if I have anything. I don't need any of it where I'm going. I'm blessed to have these things at the moment and I do thank God for that.

These people on this board are a trip aren't they? Putting your trust in Jesus Christ is all anyone has to do. Thats all the preparations anyone has to make. Death is not the end. Its just the beggining.

I'm at peace about this whole thing now really. Whatever happens, happens. To me all thats comming down the pike is just going to be a test of character. There is whole lot more to the comming situation than "surviving". Its all about how you deal with and react to things.

Are you gonna be one of the selfish ones rioting, killing, and looting because you lost everything? Yep, its all gonna be a big test of character.

I have to agree pushy Christians are pretty darn annoying. Not everyone is going to be a convert.

Some Christians make the mistake that they can argue someone into Christianity and it just plain does not work. They forget that when people are not interested in what they have to say, it is time to shake the dust off their feet and keep on walking.

This is a very good point for all Christians to acknowledge.

They either hear or they don't hear, there is no sense in arguing.

Just share the truth and move on.

That is the truly ironic thing about most of these guys(and gals)...The Bible starts in Genesis (Beginnings) and ends in Revelation (the Revelation of Jesus Christ) which among other things describes the fall of "mystery babylon" or industrial society, and does so fairly accurately...And most of the bowls, horsemen and plaugues parallel oil and resource depletion, along with polution most likely due to failures of waste processing and just plain burning dirty fuels..

It also has more profound truths, as you said, that encourage not to trust in a degenerating world, that mankind is an imperfect creature while perfection is required to be in the prescence of God (who is a consuming fire) and anyone who trusts in the perfect Son of God for their perfection will be spared from the "Wrath to Come" ...That is it - simple, nothing else is required.

I don't see the problem...

My hope does not lie in this world, including science, if it does then we are the most pitiful of creatures...I would rather be an animal.

It certainly isn't a problem if you don't care what happens in this world.

However there a large number of people who have a significant stake on what goes on here.

As they say, we can do this the nice way or the nasty way, your approach guarantees it will be done the nasty way.

.

Are you asking what my (the biblical) approach is ? If you want to know I will tell you, but only if you want to know, I can assure you it is not what you think. And the Bible has a lot to say about it, but if I tell you you won't have any more strawman to knock over.
