Get this movie from ebay! Someone calling himself Engin_jazz is selling it. Run you 26 bucks including shipping. You will only be able to play it on your computer, and you have to fiddle with it to get English subtitles working.

It is a very good anti-war movie that Americans need to see. It isn't distributed anywhere in the US, so concerned citizens need to do so.

Not much more to say, it's a revenge movie based on a real incident where Turkish soldiers were arrested by American soldiers and escorted out of their HQ with paper bags. A Turkish intelligence officer, Polat Alemdar, comes to Iraq on a mission of revenge to kill an American CIA officer played by Billy Zane. Zane is the bad guy in the movie "Titanic" and he's an effective bad guy.

The violence is realistic but not gratuitous. There's an Abu Ghraib reference. Gary Busey plays a Jewish doctor who traffics in human organs culled from Iraqi prisoners. Zane's character, Sam Marshall, (Marshall Plan reference?) is a Christian fundamentalist determined to bring Jesus to Babylon. Most of the movie is about Polat and an Iraqi woman whose family was killed by Americans hunting Sam Marshall, while Marshall is hunting them.
