$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Atlantean_Relic', 'M')aybe you just want the social fabric to breakdown so you can go on that killing rampage you always dreamed off. Sucking the blood out of the corpses of decapitated babies. All without law or mores of society holding you back.

Who is the "you" you are referring to ?

No one in particular, It is a generic you.
Was a long and dark December
When the banks became cathedrals
And the fog
Became God

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('catbox', 'G')oat Pants! I'm there!
I am listening to a great old punk rock compilation called "Hell Comes to Your House"
right now.......it's so fitting...the lyrics going on are
"reject yourself!"
Anyway, I always thought I would end up in NZ....I got married and had a youngin' and the NZ thing became a further dream due to family ties. And, not that NZ is the safe zone by any means, but I always thought I might end up there...before I had to answer to in-laws and siblings.
Run into the woods sporting goat pants!

Ahhhhh....the big picture!

MDC is not from San Fransisco but are in actuality from Austin, Texas and back then they were known as The Dicks. I grew up with them. Not only have you quoted my childhood friends in your signature, but you are wearing the same goat pants as the cute saxophone playing man. I am impressed.
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('dissimulo', 'L')et me get this straight... You're upset because life has not yet taken a big turn for the worse?

The slower things progress, the better, as far as I am concerned.

Me too. I need more time .... or money (for land). And short of winning the lottery, I'll have to settle for saving/investing to get the more money, so I need more time.
Kind regards, Katkinkate

I think that alot of people on these forums suffer from having adolescent-like fantasies about what the future holds from the standpoint of energy scarcity. These fantasies are something like the drama contained in "Road Warrior" of some other juvenile concept. It sounds like people are getting the impatient that we aren't living the "Road Warrior" fantasy yet.

Indeed, I think those work camps the government has built will be put to good use. I doubt we will see anything like "Road Warrior", however i do believe it is possible that in this soon to be 3rd world country (United States of America) it would be a good idea to have a farm, in case you dont go into the work camps. I'm currently wishing that this enegry crisis wont happen for a few more years. I have no problem waiting for the horror things to come, I want this oil party to go on as long as possible. The longer it takes the more perpared I will be, I will have my farm, my worker's shackhouses, my solar panels, my horses, my gold and so on. (Yes, I'm aware that it is possible the government can take all my stuff and put me into a work camp however if that doesnt happen for whatever reason I will be ahead of the game.
