What is your primary motivation for creating this new forum?

Are you trying to create a site dedicated entirely to "Planning for the Future" rather than PO.com's everything-semi-energy-related-goes approach?

I think it's nice that you've started another forum. There is certainly lots to discuss.

Why are you calling me a "bitch"? Was it a type-o or something? I'm sure you'd never say that to my face, but the anonymity inherent in online communication often affords a disturbing sense of cowardly bravado in those who have an axe to grind.

Please, clean it up. I'm already not inclined to visit your site again.

I would really prefer people with sticks as far up their asses as you NOT even accidentally come to my site. PM me your ip address and I'll preemptively ban your ass.

Now thats funny. I will visit the site just to watch how Matt smacks around the posters.

Too much news is never a bad thing. I searched for peak oil forums and there are not many out there that are really good, active or stay relevant. Another serious board will be good.

It does not have to be competition. Many of my sports boards are populated by the same pple, The more the pple, the more info you get. Side note: the more the pple, the more idiots you get too. So this is where Matts 'sense of humor' comes in.

Matt, I gotta say its nice to see someone not so concerned about the politically correctness of his actions. On something this small, I think thats great. The world needs more of it and in large doses.

Got it bookmarked and will pop in from time to time.

As for IanC, it's called a joke.

Clearly there is a generational difference or a large cultural divide here.

At the very least, "bitches" is a vague term refering to anyone who wants to challenge him.

He could just as easily have said, "Bring it on!"

Not really. I've posted what 1200 plus messages here. And probably 200-300 at theoildrum. It just seems foolish not to have a forum on my own site.
