Finally, telling the other side of the story...

Excuse your pagan, marxist scientific "facts" and "empirical analysis" for a moment while you look at another "interpretation of the facts."

(note: this thread is not meant to denigrate religion in general; this type of thinking is clearly outside the mainstream of religion, IMHO)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'M')ore than $21 million has been raised for the facility which includes land and offices

It never ceases to amaze me how these people will somehow donate millions for this sort of thing, yet complain mightily when it is time for a few extra dollars for public services (taxes) that actually benefit the society (public safety, better roads, education, etc.).

I think it comes down to selfishness: "I will support the institutions that I am interested in, but to hell with your sewers and roads if it means an increase in taxes."

Seriously (I'm not asking in jest), I wonder if Bush's "faith initiatives" grants are being used on this project. It would be an interesting project to list under such a heading.

Just think: government funding competing initiatives - both scientific research and groups that "debunk" scientific research... :-D

Oh wait, "global warmi...

Don't miss the web site:

Creation Museum

Prowl around a bit. Gems abound, such as this one from the "walk-through":

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'E')xplore the wonders of creation. The imprint of the Creator is all around us. And the Bible’s clear—heaven and earth in six 24-hour days, earth before sun, birds before lizards.

Other surprises are just around the corner. Adam and apes share the same birthday. The first man walked with dinosaurs and named them all!

God’s Word is true, or evolution is true. No millions of years. There’s no room for compromise.

I think it is good for people to voluntarily cripple themselves in race for survival.

If the future belongs to the quick witted, those who refuse to think will fall by the wayside rather quickly.
