Intent

That's my pick.

What I intend is the only real power I have anyway isn't it?

And it can't be taken from me... only given.

What actually happens isn't just my choice, but all our choices together.

These choices interact & change each other as well.

Like this thread which has taught me a few things already...

Just as I intended. :)
The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

Love

The most powerful thing in the world... the answer is as simple as the answer to why we are in this forum and why there is a need for this forum. The answer, of course is greed.

A man was walking along a beach when he found a lamp. Upon rubbing the lamp a genie appeared who stated "I am the most powerful genie in the world. Because I am so powerful, I can grant you any wish you want, but only one wish."

The man pulled out a map of the Mediterranean area and said "I'd like there to be peace among the people in the middle east." The genie responded, "Gee, I don't know. Those people have been fighting since the beginning of time. They are always going to be fighting. I can do just about anything, but this is beyond my limits."

The man then said, "Well, my staff is switching to Excel. I wonder if you could teach them this VBA thing."

Genie: "Uh, let me see that map again."

Since all the big ones have been taken up, ill give a honorable mention to:

The Internet.

It represents the collective hive mindset of our species. Humanity has never had this kind of access.
If you give a man a fish you will have kept him from hunger for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Apparently not. The latest research suggests that the expansion of the universe is accelerating - perhaps due to dark matter, or perhaps due to other factors. In any event, if there is an acceleration, something is overwhelming the effect of gravity.

It may not be the most powerfull thing in the world but never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. In our time right now they probably take the cake.

Long term entropy wins hands down.

Unconditional love.
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

I can win this one!

A recursive, self-intelligence enhancing, computational process.

Win!

It's not just the most powerful thing in the world, it's the most powerful thing in the universe. It's also the most powerful thing in any possible universe! We humans have a really slow version and look what we can do.

Do I get a prize? *grin*

Didn't Einstein say that compound interest was the most powerful thing in the universe?

It's close to what EntropyFails said, because they are infinitely growing things.
