It is starting to become really annoying and I believe is also the reason we are having to sidescroll to read anything. Just provide the link, and if we want to read it, we will click on the link.

I second that notion.

Frames containing external websites just plain suck. They often cause pop-ups. Unwanted music often begins playing. You can't read the darn article without scrolling. They border on rude.

A simple [url] link with a [quote] of the relevant parts of an article is more useful, more polite, and more likely to be read.
