$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('rogerhb', 'I')'ll agree with the Whitehouse saying that Abu-Ghaib, the various killings of civilians etc is due to a few bad apples. Unfortunately the most rotten apples are at the top.

and ill agree they are bad apples because besides making sure that oil is going to be traded in greenbacks they aint doing jack shit about peak oil.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('ElijahJones', 'S')o I ask you gentle folks what is a minimum set of human rights that a democratic world should guarantee to all of it's citizens.

Right to privacy is a good one. :)

An open and accountable government is another.

I don't buy the government id card thing "only criminals have something to fear".

I'd be happy if they just guaranteed the right to live (that is, not to be killed by another person) to any born human, if they wish to live. But as long as war is legal, that right won't be respected.

And I'd be happy if that right was enforced by the local police.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')hat and banning stem cell research to show some more Christian family values.

That move was my final straw.
I hope his daughter suffers a tragic auto accident and his paralyzed from the neck down. Bet he'd rethink his position then.

You misunderstood my post. I am not concerned with stem cell research at this point. There are more urgent things happening in the world, in case you did not notice. People in Lebanon are being cowardly slaughtered, *as we speak*.

I'm more concerned with the hypocrite excuse of "Christian family values" that Bush cowardly uses to justify his violations of human rights in the Middle East.

How many times do I have to repeat that I'm a CATHOLIC LEBANESE FEMALE?
