I think we need to stop telling our kids that PO is a "catastrophe" or "disaster", it's just something thats coming, end of story. If you tell your kids about how the coming PO disaster is goint to destroy the world, they're likely to look around and say "Fuck It". If you explain what is happening and why, while explaining to them that it may be our only opportunity to enact positive change to a world that drastically needs it, we'll likely have a lot more kids who actually look forward to having the chance to make the world a better place, instead of just being overwhelmed by the impossibility of it all.

And yes I do have kids, no I haven't yet educated them as far as PO is concerned but I figure Potty-training should come first

This phenomenon may also explain why we're not taking the bad-tasting medicine needed to minimize the coming disaster. Real solutions to a problem require unbiased acknowledgment of it.
