Aquygen-Why isn't there more discussion?

I would have thought people on this board would have been interested in validating or debunking this.

The guy (according to his own claims) has created a system that turns water into a clean burning fuel. He did it in his garage.

If this is true, it should revolutionize the world, yet nobody is really talking about it.

Weird!

There have been several threads on this "technology". It is of course a huge steaming serving of BS.

I personally have argued that it is BS. I can't see how after half a century of intense scientify research and quest for cheap and clean fuels, some guy with a bucket of water and a battery discovers free energy in his garage.

That's akin to saying that some four grader discoverd the cure for AIDS and cancer while messing around with a biology project.

It just doesn't stand up to logical scrutiny.

Declan, The reason there is so little coverage is that it is totally piffle.

Didn't your bullshit / scam alarm go off? If not, you need to get it retuned!

Whatever: perhaps you could have used the SEARCH facility to check if we had looked into this?

Now, please, please, please let's end this topic HERE!

I'll leave it with this excerpt of mine from another one of these BS threads.
snip----------------------------
Theres nothing amazing about hydrogen powered ICE engines. They even tend to be a little more efficent than regular gasoline. They run on stored hydrogen at 5-10k psi or stored in hydride form. So here are some example numbers...

2.1 liter engine - uses ~630 liter/min @80psi

Average priced hydrogen generator drawing 1200 watts can produce 600cc/min of hydrogen. Thats 864L/day.... That will run your small car for a minute and a hlf or so... Basically what I am saying is there is no way in hell this car can split its own fuel while running. The engine would have to produce in excess of 12000 watts in addition to the 40-80Hp needed to move the car.

In short they are L Y I N G...

There's something wrong with your maths here; 12000 Watts = 16 Hp.

However, 600cc/min = 6L/min so you would actually need to 120,000 W (160 Hp) to generate the 600 L/min consumed by the engine. But, presumably, at this rate of flow the engine would only generate about 50Hp (~30% efficient) and so would not become a perpetual motion machine.

right you are it looks like I missed the L/min vs cc/min... I'll have to look that up again and make sure the L/min is right.
Thx,

As a matter of fact I did a search but it only returned one thread with about ten post about the subject hence my asking why there isn't more talk about it.

Also, my bullshit alarm did go off. As I stated in my previous post:

Thats would make for some serious storage containers, I believe the department of transportation limits pressure vessels that will be transported over public highways here in the US to 5000 psi or thereabouts.

I regret bumping such an undeserving topic.

One variant of this "Klein gas" when Googled leads to my blog at the top of the list:

Google Klein gas

As I have spent at most a few hours reading and researching this topic, yet I have a highly ranked page, you have to believe that this is just too much vaporware. I am just about ready to put in bold at the top of the page:

I think that everyone does not understand the concept. The car does not run on hydrogen. The hydrogen is used as a fuel additive. Think of a car with nitrouis (sp?) or propane injection. I read about something like this in Popular Mechanics. The system uses the excess electricity that the alternator can develope and generates (cracks?) hydrogen, which is then injected along with gas/diesel. The hydrogen helps combustion, increases gas mileage and makes the exhaust cleaner. I believe it can work. There is just such a huge amount of BS out there that it is hard to believe anything can actually work.

On a side note, I put waste vegetable oil that I get for free in my mercedes so I get about 125 MPG for the fuel that I pay for. I use %80 WVO and %20 Gas. Some things do actually work!

Combine the hydrogen idea with a diesel electric plug-in hybrid, now you have a real fuel efficient car!
