Somebody needs to amend this poll to add in some more options. My choice would be,

"I don't want PO to arrive but believe it will, if not already. I don't think we can ever have enough time to prepare - it will be civilisation changing."

What about "It has come already, and I'm not prepared."?

I don't want peak oil to happen, but I think it will. If it doesn't some other eco-ecconomic catastrophe (like global warming) will take us out anyway eventually.

I hope the impact isn't going to be too drastic, but I fear it will be harder than I will be comfortable with. I just hope it won't be the death of me. I want to find out what happens next and I want to see my neice and nephew set up to live the post peak life.
Kind regards, Katkinkate

No one chooses the two options presented in the poll. No one likes PO. PO is going to affect everyone in a very negative way. (even if you're planning to live in the wilderness...)

Those who can't find anything better than dandelions and earthworms will be gone real fast. The diet of the hunter/gatherer was better than of most people since 8000BC

Have you heard of gardening?

My garden is in full swing with: cucumbers, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, pumpkins, squash, bell peppers, jalapenos, many herbs and spices. And I planted 6 more fruit trees this spring, bringing my total up to 24.

My pantry is still 3/4 full from last year... I'm gonna have to start selling stuff to help pay for my wind/solar powered well...

Where's the "We've got plenty of other stuff to burn, let's turn this whole planet into Easter Island!" option?
