America, The Mental Institution

Postby seldom_seen » Tue 06 Jun 2006, 04:46:07

It seems hardly a week passes by before an important new "study" hits the mainstream press about a new under-diagnosed "disorder" that affects thousands if not "millions." The latest attempt to make you a labotomized drone of the military-industrial-pharmaceutical complex is IED "intermittent explosive disorder."

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'C')HICAGO - To you, that angry, horn-blasting tailgater is suffering from road rage. But doctors have another name for it — intermittent explosive disorder — and a new study suggests it is far more common than they realized, affecting up to 16 million Americans.

This may come as a real surprise to all of you, but the reccomended way to deal with this newly discovered epidemic is to eat some pills manufactured by big pharmacy:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'C')occaro said the disorder involves inadequate production or functioning of serotonin, a mood-regulating and behavior-inhibiting brain chemical. Treatment with antidepressants, including those that target serotonin receptors in the brain, is often helpful

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060605/ap_ ... _disease_1

Be a good consumer now, here ya go, take your pills and drive to the mall with that vacant smile on your face. Energy crisis? What energy crisis? Here take another one of these pills and give me your credit card. Here you go one more of these, now wash it down. The gas chamber is right over here...

Huxley's Brave New World, Orwell's 1984...those were supposed to be pieces of fiction weren't they? : )

Maybe this is it. The government has finally introduced their comprehensive plan to deal with high gas prices and peak oil: social engineering with psychotropic medication.

Hmmm, maybe we are heading for having laws against "unauthorized emotional outburst."

So that was Jason's problem!

The poor guy had IED! How sad that his condition wasn't properly diagnosed, and a good drug regimen prescribed for him.

Pot is illegal because anyone can grow and smoke it. Making those fancy pills and the next "new" wonder drug takes large capital intensive facilities.

The former means no money in the pocket of big business the latter means big profits.

If I recall correctly there are laws against distilling your own alcohol and even growing your own tobacco?

How can the money trickel up if you have a level playing field LOL

Its sick and twisted.
I want to get back to WE the people. WE can take care of our selves and our own. Tax pot and grow it. Hemp and skunk. Both have utilitarian purposes. This pathetic fucking Ponzi scam called the united states of america is a joke. One big scum bag lie. The ones that defend this present system are anti freedom and anti constitution and need to be exiled or executed. They have no business being in this nation that was founded on simple principles. from the cocksmoking federalists(liers and theives) right down to the commie pukes that reside here.
They are all ruining all the good things. makes me want to vomit.
The federalists, democrats, technocrats, RINOS are worse than the commies becuase they actually rant about how they are preserving the integrity of the nation. They mould to their world views. Their vile neoclassical economic ponzi scam system is Anti-American. End of f$cking story. Thier vile actions actually promote the disintegration of a free healthy nation. And they are too stupid to even know it.

Even sicker is that these 'disorders' are being pushed down to young children who are similarly prescribed medications as early as kindergarten - Making them zombies for life. Perhaps some are in need of some of this type of treatment but it is clear that is is over done. This article is 2 years old but shows that the use of anti-depresents is so prevelant it is getting into the water so that the Frogs don't even have the sense to reproduce properly.

On the other hand, when you reach 80+ years of age and get depressed because you lose your eyesight or just generally have aches and pains, they don't seem to want to prescribe the happy pills - which is when I would want them.

There are natural ways to relieve the suffering and pain. The thugs are exterminating the natural ways. ecocide basically. they want u hooked up with them and only them. They will crush all forms of competition. Ponzi.

Yeah it's pathetic.

It's funny how these drug manufacturers act like they've got the
brain figured out. Sure, no prob, you just need to boost your
serotonin levels. The entire SSRI class of drugs was probably
created after early studies of LSD. Actually there's no real
evidence boosting serotonin levels is healthy.

http://www.antidepressantsfacts.com/introduction.htm

I remember when I was a kid in the 70's seeing lots of ads for
aspirin, tylenol and prep-h. Those were bad enough. The new
breed of drug ads are even worse. I luv it when the announcer
rapidly reads off a list of 30 possible (nasty) side-effects for a
given drug at the very end of the commercial. Anyone remember
those fat-free chips cooked with 'olestra' that were marketed in
the 90's? At the end of the commercial the announcer warned
eating too many may cause 'gas with oily discharge'! Yikes. I
seem to recall those weren't on the market for long.

It's all bullshit, and now the US gov. is trying to introduce the
'codex' legislation which would put strict limits the amounts of
vitamins one could purchase (like, no vitamin C over 200 mg)
and ban most supplements. Soon the prisons will be overflowing
(like they're not already) with vitamin c pushers, in addition the
usual druggies and murders.

Putting the 'D' in dysfunction.

I believe the hermaphroditic frog syndrome is more likely caused
by endrocrine disruptors, which are now everywhere in our
environment. Certain herbicides (atrazine) and various chemicals
used to soften plastics (phthalates) are actually more damaging
in minute than gross quantities.

But it's true that so many drugs are now being consumed by
crazed H. Sapiens that they can now be detected in ppt (parts-
per-trillion) quantities in the water - SSRI's, antibiotics, ibuprofen...
lots of stuff. What comes around goes around.

I think all the pill popping is indicitive of the fact humanity is now
facing what I'm calling 'Terminal Selection Pressure' (TSP). TSP
is something which most species cannot survive. Even if it's
self inflicted. It's a madness brought about by imminent extinction.

govt? just the market at work, homeboy. this is the result of a highly successful privatization policy.

govt would deny care because of cost. market logic is topsyturvey. since medicine becomes a profit center rather than a cost center, the tendency is to overtreat... which in the case of medicine is by far the worse of two evils.

that upside down market logic works the same in all kinds of arenas. waste produces abundance. conservation is death. vice is virtue. no wonder most economists can't see straight.

no wonder people revere the market like a god-in-the-system. it's freakin' magic. it's like the Wizard of Oz. only, behind the curtain isn't a little man, instead it is a vast invisible underground pool of flammable sludge.

The shit-stem is a joke. I luagh at it. I want everyone to scoff at it. ridicule it. shame it. I will never take the talking heads and their ponzi seriously. It will always be a joke until it is changed. We must shame them at least. When they speak on TV, laugh. when they come rolling for votes, laugh. when their commercials terrorize u, laugh. maybe we can shame it into the ground somehow. War on Terror. War on drugs. pfffftt.
And they take our tax money to fund the abominations. its so sick and twisted.
I want poppies, pot, hemp, all the War on drugs drugs legalized. Anything these ponzi/commie scammers say I want the opposite.
If u have soul please stand. at least.

Case Study.

I wonder how close we are to wonder drugs like Soma (Brave New World)

Movies like 'Equilibrium' strike a nerve with me....I would fight that kind of dumb sheep mentality. That and I could never be evil enough to controll the masses either.

Ahhh yes. Thanks for reminding me. Tis the season to plunder poppies
here in the northern hemisphere.

I've got a few ... gardens I need to visit. Been a very lush growing
season here in wisconsin. Things are so green it hurts my eyes.

Me, I stick to drugs I can grow myself.

Seldom - a friend of mine who lives in the bay area found loads and
loads of very potent cyans earlier this year. Apparently it was
a good year for shrooms - long rainy season. Goodness they are potent!
Not to be trifled with.
