Democracy?

After the colored revolution capital flight is up 250%...
Like Georgia, corruption is up big time.

Yeltsin was the first colored revolution, and look at what the results are.

Democracy that is unlimited will only come when the economy is fixed. People have this delusion that first you must make democracy and that later the economy gets better, this is an America hallucination...

Ukraine was ordered by America to have a colored revolution only because America and the EU want Russia to give up the gaz and oil on the cheap (cheaper)...

Ukraine and Georgia are being used by the west.

What Ukraine needs is a strong leader, like Putin, that only cares about Ukrainian people, and works for them and works for trade with natural partners.

Saaskavili is an idiot. He can't sell sparkling water or wine to Russia because they send the worst quality north... At this point, it a matter of time.

As dollar hegemony wanes, Russia, Ukraine and Georgia, Belarus, all of their economies will recover. And then they will clearly see it is better to trade and work together, and at that point democracy will be better than any western nation...

Keep listening to America, sure... with the Iraqi track record, the US debt track record, you want companies in Ukraine to be like Enron?

Hey Luther, although some your posts are overemotional and lead me to argue with you, for this quote you get two thumbs up! I can not agree more.

"Democracy that is unlimited will only come when the economy is fixed. People have this delusion that first you must make democracy and that later the economy gets better, this is an America hallucination..."

Thats true, poor economy destroys democracy. And good economy builds up good democracy. The question is what are prerequisites for a good economy?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Ukrainian', 'P')eople,

be careful!

lol, I think all big intelligence services keep track on what is going on here (because the forum is um.. unconventional). but they do not do any propaganda or show their presence. I think luther is neither KGB nor russian - it would be too obvious. Where is the covert action part then? What kind of a KGB agent would he be if he was debunked in no time after his first post :)

he does propaganda for sure. I just doubt his allegiance to KGB. cause his prop. is too obvious and makes people laugh. In fact if you read "Geopolitics" here (old topics i mean), you will see that he has been doing that for a while now, we kinda got used to it:):)

sch_peakoiler,

Yes, I am emotional about Russia, they are great people, and my wife and will retired (Belarus) there and grow our busineses there.

I love how some think I'm in the business of propaganda, or I'm a kgb agent, just because I can't see wmd in Iraq, becuase I can't agree that Iraq is peaceful...

It takes brains to understand Peak oil, and good understanding of fundamentals, it's not rocket science, but does require thinking.

Too many look for "good news" and the "easy way".
There are neither, not for democracy, not for economics, not for politics. Ukrainian people will have to just wait 20 years more while they learn that America was as acurate as Enron and Iraq.

So sad, they are owed so much more by Yuschenko.

sch_peakoiler, I was very surprised about one thing. I stuck some links to peak oil videos... some about good news, some about bad news... The traffic, the stats, good greif, few click on the bad news... How can you make life good if you never read the bad news, reality is both sides... You need to listen to the good, the bad, the easy and the difficult...

ahhh... people are funny, your a FSB agent if you can't talk about good things in America... and bad about outside the US... nuts I say...

Actually, in Belarus, the secret police and intelligence services are still officially called KGB.

Dear friends!

Russian FSB agents attacked Ukrainian message boards form beginning of Orange Revolution. They posted prorussians and antiamericans message that looks like as Mr. Lq. posts.
For example, they attack message board of most popular Ukrainian political recourses Ukrainskaya Pravda (Ukrainian Truth). They comment all events in political life of Ukraine only form FSB-CIA confrontation point of view. Antagonism is a quite poor philosophy. Therefore Ukrainians don't take FSB agents into account. But we were highly surprised when saw this man on international forums too.

Yeah, in a similar vein, I remember reading some Zimbabwe message boards just to find out what was going on there, as I like to follow world affairs, and there were a whole bunch of Pro-Mubutu people on there making inane arguments and yelling insults at everybody.

I hear some stories from time to time, that Mr Putin try to play East v. West Ukraine and to split this country into Russia dominated East and impowerished west left at mercy of EU.
This would be done democratically, means by referendum.

Well then the FSB/KGB should sack him because he is doing a lousy job. He is one of the few posters here who is ever likely to make me sympathise with Bush and his neocon administration. Surely if the Russian intelligence sevices are going to use stooges to influence opinion in the west they would hire someone a little more subtle. Often he reads like Lord Haw Haw.

Your going to go over well in Russia. There are skinheads there now killing anything that isn't Russian. I'm guessing there going to have huge support post-peak, since they already have limited support. Luther, if you move to Russia, they'll kill you, whether you love them or not. Russia will be for Russians, and if your not Russian, don't expect to be welcomed there.
