Peak Oil may or may not be here ... but the story is getting out!

Now could be a good time to get some VC together and set up a startup in the energy sector: photocell / wind generator / insulation or similar technologies.

Are there any techies or entrepreneurs out there who might be interested in joining such a venture?

Ideally you would already have startup experience, be aged 25 - 50, highly experienced in some relevant sector, top 10% IQ, mega drive ... all the usual things the VC people look for.

I am UK based so clearly I would be looking to work with British people here ... although telework is not totally out of the question I suppose.

I very much doubt that this will lead anywhere - but PM me if you feel that this might be a workable idea ...

I've already got a startup that's focusing on energy and emerging technologies: InfinET LLC. I'm located in the U.S. though - too bad. Maybe we could cooperate on some R&D ventures.

I'm already engaged as well, but would be glad to provide consultation re. the operational aspects of any startup having to do with telecommuting or telework. That's to say, I'm willing to do a knowledge-transfer and provide ongoing assistance, for an appropriate but not unreasonable price.

(You even mentioned telework in your posting! It's definitely time. Every telecommuter is up to ten fewer car trips per week.)

BTW, above top 1/10 of 1%, and engineering track record in the field.

Now I suppose we should look up each others' postings to see if there's a basis for collaboration...
