$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('12amps', 'y')ou people are retarded, no matter what technology we have, chemical reaction can only happen so fast. Muscles can only move so fast, it is retarded to think that one day a human can run at mach 5 or lift up a Boeing 747. This is fucking common motherfucking sense people, use your fucking brains. I don't care how you twist the rules, or your own definitions, you are just in denial.
No, you are right I think there is a limit but I think a 4 minute mile could be broken. Perhaps not in our lifetime but maybe in the next 100 years. The record is 4:16 set back in 1976. Just look what modern medicine has done to exend the lifespan in the last 100 years. Why not speed or stamina? A 59 sec quarter mile pace is decent. I ran a 2:10 half mile on my High school track team and I was average. What if they made a breakthrough in just stamina and muscle fatigue? The military has been at it for years trying to make a better soldier.
If you give a man a fish you will have kept him from hunger for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
