Vodka, does it really work?

Postby Schweinshaxe » Thu 20 Apr 2006, 15:20:22

Yes, what do you think?

Does this vodka thing work or is it just a hoax? Has it been proven to work in any study or something?

I have read a lot about vodka but I haven't found anything else but hearsay and vague indication.

If it turns out NOT to work, where would that put us?

Well ...all I can say is that it works for me... but dont take my word for it, try it yourself.

Damn ...you're making me hungry. Haven't had a plate of schweinshaxe for years... and I always loved those little herby dumplings.

It works too well for me. Try beer, it doesnt work as well but it's sufficient.

Works for me.
But I would classify myself as multi-fuel capable.

I have found vodka works most effectively as an aviation fuel when combined with Red Bull.

Better stick to wine, schwein. If you are the type that drinks a lot when you really only should drink a little, stick to wine and beer and leave the vodka to Russians and aviators.

If you can find it, try an Israeli Vodka called Staupka.

If it doesnt work, just keep drinking till you wake up naked on the floor.

No - it does not work. It is all fantasy.

The inebriation returned on energy invested is less than a 1:1 ratio.

You always have to get up and work all week in order to buy the vodka to get drunk.

I hear you can get around this by distilling it yourself, but big alcohol pays the fat cats in DC to keep it illegal.

I don't know but work makes me really want vodka right now.

And that sucks, cause normally I have like a two beer job.

In my wilder days of college I used to mix a generous amount of vodka with a 7-11 blueberry slurpie. Makes you face go numb. Makes you do stupid things.

I once got invited not to return at a gas station 16 years ago. While my friend was gassing up I noticed you could talk to the attendent on a CB radio on the pillar outside. I don't remember this very well,l but I was told later everyone inside the Quik-Trip did not appreciate me singing CW Mcalls "Convoy" on the intercom.
If you give a man a fish you will have kept him from hunger for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

What are you alluding to when you say - 'does it really work?' Are we just talking about getting f*cked up or something else?

I love the Polish attitude towards vodka - once a bottle is open it must be consumed in its entirety. There is no such thing as as a half a bottle of vodka in Poland! Lots of shots...

And if price is an issue, you need to switch from the light sweet, to the heavy sour. Nuthin like 1.75litre of Osco Vodka in a plastic bottle. Literally, nothing is like it.
