$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('EndDays', 'I')ts almost laughable that people can possibly say that God doesn't exist.

...

Now go inside somewhere and look in a mirror. Ask yourself why you, which are trillions of times more intricate and complex than any building did not have a creator?

I do have a creator. Well, two of them. I call them 'Mum' and 'Dad'. I used to be nothing more than a single-celled zygote, not very complex at all. Now I'm a beast with the ability to spout crap on an internet forum...

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Kez', 'W')hy would Cheney do such a thing? He is a multi-millionaire. He likes to read books and sit around at his ranch in Wyoming with his family. Why on earth would he risk everything he had, his family, and a potential American revolution to start some war?

Dick Cheney's political career began in 1969 during the Nixon administration, he lives for politics. Money is probably his second biggest motivator. Do you really know what he likes to do with his time? The man had a motive and the means, not to mention the resulting power he now commands in America.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Kez', 'N')ot 'theories', but evidence of Cheney sending money to a hijacker's mom or something. Come on that is just nuts. He is life-long friends with many of the people in congress and the white house (the original targets apparently), yet he's gonna sit back and watch them die? For what? More money?

The mans name is Dick, not Idiot. What do you mean "original targets"? Name one member of congress or whitehouse staffer that was killed on 9/11.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Kez', 'T')hey could of easily had one U.S. military truck drive into the Iraqi desert and fire a big scud missile at Kuwait. That alone would be enough to get people riled up to go to war. 2 guys in a truck and a missile.

A CNN news flash of a scud missile hitting Kuwait hardly compares to the WTC's collapsing live on TV for millions of Americans to see. Not to mention, your Kuwait plan would not have allowed the introduction of the Patriot Act, dismantling of the Constitution and many other things that have happened since.

A good place to start is http://www.st911.org/
There is a mountain of evidence indicating an inside job. Cheney? Rummy? Bush? Wolfowitz? Rice? Who knows, but probably less than the hundreds you imagine were required to carry out this version of Operation Northwoods. Before you delve into 9/11, it may help to examine some recent history such as the Gulf of Tonkin, Pearl Harbour and the JFK assassination to get over that first hurdle that the US government is very capable of carrying out plans most people would think unbelievable. In fact, denial was surely factored into the equation. It is all about power my friend and the American people are losing it rather quickly at this juncture.

I Only Have this to add for those Atheists that believe Getting rid of religion would fix some or all the issues in the world. I'm sure If you got everyone to agree on spontaneous generation sans creator you would still have people going to wars over whether the cell membrane occured first or did some type of genetic material coded for it. I'm sure the DNAist vs. RNAist wars will be so much better than God vs. Allah.

How about suggesting that all those people who think the afterlife is better than this place to consider relocating.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'U')FOs are not real ghosts are not real there is no God and there is no so called war on terror.

Peak oil is real what effect will it have? Only time will tell.

I am a natural sceptic but I will admit I have been fooled by propaganda I though that Iraq had less weapons then the Neo Cons were saying.

Just any FYI, you're not a skeptic, you've already made up your mind. A skeptic is someone who neither believes nor disbelieves without evidence. A true skeptic keeps an open mind and addressess the information and evidence obtained. For an example of NOT a skeptic, just read the "Skeptical Inquirer", more rigid true believers will never be found. They aren't skeptics, they're rationalists, there's a big difference.

BTW, I hope the first time of of those UFOs that don't exist fly over, or when you see one of those ghosts that don't exist, your preconceptions will allow you to actually experience it.

Sorry, started out as a non-believer but had too much evidence shoved down my mind. As the old saying goes, "believing is seeing."

Well, it would reduce the over pop. Unless the Hindus are right then we'll be knee deep in barnyard critters.

I would beg to differ, scientists tend to be more rational and logical by nature of their discipline and I don't think they would put their lives on the line just to fight over such concepts. They would fight using evidence and logic. Only people who believe that they will go straight to heaven and be honoured forever for killing the enemy of their god can really go gung-ho into war (or people high/who have been drinking).

The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan did not really bear that example out. Between 1917 and the collapse the USSR was an athiest regime.

Yeah you're right. Atheists would be just as capable as fighting over valuable resources including land (except they wouldn't diguise it with some divine sanction - I don't know what that would do to troop moral, do people fight more devotedly with divine sanction? Has anyone done a test?). I just wouldn't expect scientists to start wars over scientific concepts.

The scientists in general don't, it's the leaders+politicians who rabble-rouse and use jingoism and patriotism to start wars. Scientists merely provide the new weaponry.

And that's why I'll support DNAist. If you look at DNA it is beautifully symettrical. The Double Helix is life!!! Drive those single helix barbarians back into the sea that spawned them! [smilie=XXknight.gif] Join the Army today!
