Holmes, Its refreshing to see another who actually looks at the world around them and understands whats going on. More importantly, its refreshing to see another who wont hand this country over an ANY evil. This is our damned country. I'll share, but you aint takin it away!
Of course, take comfort in the fact that the spineless hippie polesmokers who want to hold hands and sing kumbaya while the world crashes down around them will be shoved aside and better men and women then them are ready to step up to the plate and play ball.

Our country is bankrupt. maybe some discipline will enliven your brain. I work and have invested in this country. I am young. My family has too. It has been consumed to death by corruptness. The millions of dollars wasted and ecological destruction of exponential growing population we pay for each year is infinite. The corruptness involved in immigratiuon is deep. flushing my $ and country. do u ever get out into the real world? pound the canyons of Utah? the sw desert maybe? spec i try and be patriotic. however at the present our entire system from the military on up is tinged with corruptness. absolutely no truth now in mainstream america. Military will also be divided. And Iran is rooting for Bush. To the comment about immigration and despoilation: Yeah, I'm with you. The per capita consumption of the US is a problem when you consider the increased population from immigration. But that has nothing to do with invasion from a foreign army or people. The US does have budget problems: hence I'll probably move some money into non-dollar denominated investments, just as a I moved a significant amount of money into Oil and Commodities quite a while ago.

Here's the reality kids. While you babble about hippies and all your childish crap, I'm making a fortune off of peak oil. I want to ensure that our country takes the right path, economically, energy wise, military, etc. But I'll also ensure my path. I made millions in the cellular industry and will make many more millions in the oil and commodities business. Many of these conversations are just simply childish, the creation of video game players who don't have much connection with the real world. Go out and get a real job, make some real money, do something real. Geez you guys are so friggen amusing sometimes.

As I understand it Bush has supported amnesty for illegals which has resulted in a massive increase in illegals entering the country. And Tom Ridge feels that no border security increases are neccesary: link

The dems openly support illegal immigration. some choice this election if that is an issue for you.

btw there are several very popular groups which work openly in the US promoting the retaking of the US southwest. La Raza (The Race) etc... so I wouldn't say that there is no threat there. But I don't think they seriously are a military threat. Economic maybe...

gnm, spec op, its gonna get nasty again in this country. Folks think that these times of non stop feel good are real. they arent. high density pops get nasty and ugly. My uncle and aunt were down in the coranado national forest and found several drug caches. then got spied by a gang of mexicans and followed. they took out their buck knives out and ran as fast as they could out of there. border patrol told them never take a knife to a gunfight lol. Cousin in san diego prays hes dead before it explodes down there. new mex got major water problems. keep growing and its going to pop.

Will be a water crisis? Jeez its staring us in the face. I have water collection systems and 1500 gallons of storage in addition to my little well. I am not worried but if I was an ignorant suburbanite I might be! San Diego can at least go the de-salinization route. 'Course they have said there is a huge aquifer near hear but it is saline so NM might go that route too...
