Oh this is great, there's so many other sites out there with people making ads with different agendas... I'm starting to wonder if Chevy actaully expected this to happen or not...

It seems like I can't save it or something...

Am I missing something?
(I clicked "watch" and submitted. It didn't give me a website so I can link back to...)

What’s really funny are all these people who think they are damaging Chevy and informing the public about peak oil, when what they are really doing is helping advertise Chevy Tahoe’s.
“Any publicity is good publicity”.

There’s some funny clips there to be sure, but just don’t think that they are actually making a difference. In fact these anti SUV adds are probably increasing SUV sales.

I'm not sure how you've come to that conclusion.
Remember the Wendy's finger-in-chili incident? I doubt it increased their sales. What about rollover Ford Explorers? I've heard sales are lower than ever. After TWO redesigns.
I guarantee some marketing exec lost his job after this blunder by GM.

I really, reallly doubt that. In fact, I've never seen an anti-SUV ad outside of the internet.

There is some truth to your words....
But making the Tahoe a "rodny Dangerfield" amoungst friends is not going to boost sales much...nor will it hurt sales, nor is there any intention to do either.
Annother common saying "if I did not sell them someone else will" ....and the truth to that is folks who want an SUV will go to Toyota or (gasp) Ford etc.

I am actualy eating crow and saying 4X4's are NESSECARY in snowy climates (I wintered in Minnesota...) but you can get a Subaru car and get most of the safety benifits....
But i will not condem those who feel the need for a HEAVY car with 4x4 for icy conditions....it reallly does add a margin of safety if you drive carefully.
In the mean time I think my commercail (page 2) is one of the more funny....chill and laugh a bit. 8)

But, but...Donald, there were no clips of the railroad!
Actually, I think there's one clip where the Tahoe is driving over asphalted streetcar tracks - and that effin burns me! :x

OK-here is my commercial

DONALD TRUMP: You know, I'm a facifull guy. I like to walk in and be noticed. When your hair matches the honey pewter clear coat paint job of the 2007 Chevy GasHo-people notice. In business getting noticed will get you in the door. Having 7 passenger seating in a well designed vehicle is "in-valuable" when cruising around NBC affiliates looking for pearky reality show tail.

Also George and Carol turned me on to Smart Lease. I've been doing this for years with my women so it only makes good sense to have the ability to "Trade up-without the hassle of a pre-nup".

To any team leader who shows back from a task in some economy job is not someone I can trust in my organization. Certainly if I am to be the construction czar to rebuild New Orleans-it certainly will be extravagant. Nothing about the Trump name says thrift or economy. Two words for those people:You're Fired!
If you give a man a fish you will have kept him from hunger for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
