Thanks all for your help. Out of all the suggestions I have to say that wanking helps the most.
Seriously tho, I've started exercising again (push ups, pull ups, free weights). That and a few yoga positions in the morning before I hit the shower are helping a lot I think. I had a great yoga class in high school but had been neglecting my skills (like my guitar

). Also, my job has helped me schedule my time better. Too much empty time can have an affect on your ability to plan and manage it.

It's funny that you mentioned 4:00. I found this website at about 4 on the day I joined. My random search for "oil" lead me down quite a rabbit hole.
I had been missing something, to say the least...

I also am more of a night person. I find it easier to think when I have total quiet and I even learned to program at night, just patiently working my way through it. Patience is key I think for anything.
