$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A') city boy named Ben, moved to the country and bought a mule from an old farmer for $100. The farmer agreed to deliver the mule to him the next day.
But the next day, the farmer drove up in his old truck and told Ben, "Sorry, son, but I have some bad news, the mule died."
Ben replied, "Well then, just give me my money back."
The farmer said, "Can't do that. I went and spent it already."
Ben said, "OK then, just bring me the mule."
The farmer asked, "What ya gonna do with a dead mule?"
Ben, "I'm going to raffle him off."
The farmer said, "You can't raffle off a dead mule!"
Ben said, "Sure I can. Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he's dead."
A month later the farmer met up with Ben and asked, "So, what happened with the dead mule?"
Ben said, "I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at $2 a piece and made a profit of $898.00."
The farmer said, "Didn't anyone complain?"
Ben replied, "Just the guy who won, so I gave him his $2 back.
Ben grew up and eventually became Chairman of the Federal Reserve.
