Bessler Wheel: Real Life Perpetual Motion Machine

By 1717, he had convinced thousands of people, from the ordinary to the eminent, that he had indeed discovered the secret of a self-sustaining mechanism. The machine underwent numerous tests and passed rigorous inspections. It was made to do heavy work for long periods, and in an official test it ran continuously for 54 days.


The Industrial revolution could have been launched on the back of this wheel but we choose another path. Hopefully it is not too late to set things right and build a clean future.

This is the diagram for bessler's wheel. It is based on sacred geometry. Geometry that built the pyramids and the coral castle. Hopefully it will now save the world.

The Bessler wheel is not exactly perpetual motion but when linked to the magic roundabout and loaded wit 200 grams of lucky charms through the flux capacitor it does provide enough power to run 6250 average homes for 1 year.

PS: I need a bigger tinfoil hat.

if it has friction, and uses zero energy input to move and it keeps moving (hence outputting energy) and if EROEI is a ratio between those two....
it means that it has infinite EROEI, right?

OMG , topicstarter, I understand, that is a very interesting topic!!! but in this forum, ENERGY TECHNOLOGY, we talk about Thermodynamic compliant technologies.

2 Moderators, probably you could open a separate forum, PERPETUAL MOTION TECHNOLOGY, so that such posts do not get into here and waste the time of us thermodynamic compliant guys??

Hmm, I have a lot of respect for geometry, but I would hesitate to call it sacred. Heck, perhaps I would, worshipping mathematics seems better than worshipping metaphysical entities.

Anyway, if I had such an idea, I would be out in the garage right now trying to build a working model!

Also apply for a patent! A word to the wise - the Patent office don't like hearing the words "perpetual", "unlimited" or "infinite", so I would avoid those. Our Patent Office used to ask for a working model of perpetual motion claims, but it proved too time consuming trying to find the hidden springs in things, so they issued a blanket ban on PM applications. The USPTO got round the problem by only issuing patents for things that have already been invented :)

I think I saw something perpetual motion related here before.

By the way, from this website. They mention Nuclear Breeders as machines that fall under the perpetual motion heading, stating that Breeders produce more energy than consume. But I think this is a bad analogy, because breeders actually do not create new fuel, they just convert non fissible into fissible. But their are limited to U238 resources. Ok, there is plenty of U238 around, but OMG that does not have anything to do with perpetual motion.

To all thermodynamical guys here! Lets do our best, to debunk that site! But do not be rude. We must stay serious, to provide other people with reliable information. If we just say its impossible, full stop here, there will be people saying we are conspiring against free energy. Thats why - as scientifical as possible.

I am afraid that in case of these hardcore perpetuum mobile fanatics this is quite futile. Already at school our physics teacher told us anecdotes about how many attempts to patent perpetuum mobiles are made year after year, often by the same people again and again.

But what I think would be very well a worthy enterprise would be to try to educate the broader public about the basic concepts of energy and thermodynamics, just to bring into conscience of the electoral majority that there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Sadly enough the gatekeepers, i.e. the journalists, very often have no concept about this themselves. I think this would be the place to start...

This is a great reference site for people who want to tinker with perpetual motion, and waste the rest of their lives. Popular link with the otherpower.com folks, they are generating power whilst every day someone is posting about free energy. :)

According to quantum physics, the universe is always in motion. All energy is in motion all the time. If someone can harness the natural state of motion in the universe, it would not go against quantum physics in theory. It would be no different from a windmill or tidal generator.
