How many nanometer go in an inch?

And why don't they use a nanoinch or perhaps a picoyard?

A femtomile maybe?

Hmmm......... microfeet that sounds interesting.

Please end the confusion. My unit convertor is running overtime. Lets all go to SI units.

- No more measuring things in various bodyparts ;-)

- No more Fahrenheits, Yards, BTU's Candles, Lumens, Torrs, PSI's, calories Atmospheres etc

Just plain old Kelvins (or centigrades), meters, kilometers, kilogrammes, joules, newtons....

So then we need to know how many litres of oil in a barrel

And how many grams in a Troy Oz.

That should be all you need to know.

I don't think there is an SI unit for number of angels on a pinhead though, or is it a universal constant?

We should retain "horsepower" though, it may make a comeback.
