I am a big soup maker myself. I cook something different every night, and I keep a little left over from each meal (a bit of tomato, some beef, a touch of barley, etc) and then on sunday I make a weekend soup...it is weird and different every week!

as for the cheesecake...not difficult.. you do NOT need a food processor...I do not have one....I mash the fruit by hand. This is probably the most complicated cheesecake recipe there is, but there are many, many others that are really scrumptious cheesies that are easier....and all would be better than Sara Lee!!

Play with your food....the making is the best part of eating!

:-D

How about this one...?

3 pkgs. Philadelphia cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs

Topping
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon powered sugar

Crust: Use store bought crust.

Filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until well blended. Add eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition. Stir in vanilla; pour mixture over crust. Bake 45 minutes.

For topping, mix sour cream, powdered sugar and vanilla, and spread over top of cake. Allow to "cook" in turned off oven from 10 minutes.
