$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('elroy', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('sch_peakoiler', 'T')he information about breaking the limit or technical default is NOT TRUE!. NOT YET. I already supplied a link (in a neighbor topic) - Not all the debt is subject to limit. The current amount of debt subject to the limit is approx. 8,048 billion, as opposed to the limit of 8,184 !!!
So at the current rate of spending, when would it be reached ?

In February or latest in the beg. of March :):):)

Gee, I did not say the situation was OK, :)

I just wanted to warn everybody not to make false claims based on false assumptions.

Is today a good day for a stock market crash?

Unread postby LadyRuby » Thu 23 Feb 2006, 11:08:45

Down 72 points after only 38 minutes of trading...? I wonder?

Usually it doesn't continue this kind of thing. By the end of the day it will only be down 20 points.

The BBC comment on the opening of trade:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '(')Open): US stocks lost ground in early trading on Thursday as escalating violence in Iraq raised fears of higher oil prices in the near future.

The Dow Jones index opened trading down 58.34 points at 11,078.83 while the Nasdaq fell 9.83 to 2,273.34.

Figures released later on Thursday are expected to show a rise in US crude stocks but militia violence in oil-rich Nigeria has also made investors jumpy. Fannie Mae rose 2.8% to $57.49 after reporting a clean bill of health.

Don't worry as long as the PPT is on the job. There are only 30 stocks in DJ - so they don't have to manipulate too many to make things look good on any day the market tries to go down triple digits.

Its time to sit on the sidelines and strategize about which opportunities will boom in a post apocalyptic world.
When it comes down to it, the people will always shout, "Free Barabbas." They love Barabbas. He's one of them. He has the same dreams. He does what they wish they could do. That other guy is more removed, more inscrutable. He makes them think. "Crucify him."
