Ayahuasca and the Supreme Court

The SC says that the New Mexico church that uses the DMT hallucinogenic tea Ayahuasca is OK. That's some weird stuff, I've read. Beings from beyond can make themselves known to users. It's also supposed to be an extreme psychological tonic, causing memories of early childhood, introspection and alot of nausea and vomiting. You can read up on it at http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/ayahuas ... asca.shtml

Daniel Pinchbeck wrote about this stuff in his book Breaking Open The Head. He went down to the Amazon to try it. It actually sounds quite intiguing. The one that spooks me is DPT, DMT's evil twin. You ought to read how Pinchbeck desribes it. Utterly bizarre. Of course, so is salvia divinorum. I have no wish to get anywhere near DPT. For that matter, jimson weed (datura) sounds like a nightmare substance too, though Carlos Casteneda says that Don Juan the indian sorceror used it for magic. DMT, though is it a powerful psychotropic, seems to have a gentle, introspective, healing property. So, can we go to one of these churches and try it out now?
