I'm So Worried [about Peak Oil] - apologies to Monty Python

This song seemed ripe for parodying with a Peak Oil slant, [though really it is half way there already], so I present to you with tongue just slightly in cheek -

"I'm So Worried [About Peak Oil]" - with apologies for my butchering of Monty Python's classic dirge....

I'm so worried about what's happening today,
In the Middle East, you know.
And I'm so worried about the ethanol fuel that
somehow we'll manage to grow.

I'm so worried about the hydrogen cells,
I don't think they're sustainable.
And I'm so worried that all the solar PV's
EROEI won't have enough pull.

I'm so worried about what's happening today,
In the Middle East, you know.
And I'm so worried about the ethanol fuel that
somehow we'll manage to grow.

I'm so worried about the oil running out,
And predicting exactly which day.
And I'm so worried about being so full of doubt
About how long we've got anyway.

I'm so worried about nanotechnology,
I'm so worried about wave generators in the sea.
I'm so worried about it, worried about it,
Worried, worried, worried.

I'm so worried about everything that can go wrong.
I'm so worried about people understanding just how long.
I'm so worried about this very next year,
I don't have much faith in the Dow.
And I'm so worried about whether I should go on
Or whether I should run right now.

I'm so worried about whether it's already too late!
And I'm so worried because it's the sort of thing I ought to know.
And I'm so worried about the ethanol fuel that
somehow we'll manage to grow.

I'm so worried about whether I should stop telling friends,
I'm so worried that I'm driving everyone round the bend!
And I'm so worried about the ethanol fuel that
somehow we'll manage to grow.

...please feel free to add extra verses :)

Given the fact that China owns the US it would be apt to sing

I Like Chinese

Spoken: The world today seems absolutely crackers,
With nuclear bombs to blow us all sky high.
There's fools and idiots sitting on the trigger,
It's depressing and it's senseless, and that's why...

I like Chinese, I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees,
Yet they're always friendly, and they're ready to please.

I like Chinese, I like Chinese.
There's nine hundred million of them in the world today.
You'd better learn to like them, that's what I say.

I like Chinese, I like Chinese.
They come from a long way overseas,
But they're cute and they're cuddly, and they're ready to please.

I like Chinese food,
The waiters never are rude.
Think of the many things they've done to impress,
There's Maoism, Taoism, I Ching and chess.

I like Chinese, I like Chinese.
I like their tiny little trees,
Their Zen, their ping-pong, their yin and yang-ese.

I like Chinese thought,
The wisdom that Confucious taught.
If Darwin is anything to shout about,
The Chinese will survive us all, without any doubt.

So, I like Chinese, I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees,
Yet they're wise and they're witty, and they're ready to please.

All together,
Wo ai zhong-guo ren (I like Chinese)
Wo ai zhong-guo ren (I like Chinese)
Wo ai zhong-guo ren (I like Chinese)
Ni hao ma, ni hao ma, ni hao ma, zai jian. (How are you, how are you, how are you, goodbye)

I like Chinese, I like Chinese.
Their food is guaranteed to please,
A fourteen, a seven, a nine, and lychees.

I like Chinese, I like Chinese.
I like their tiny little trees,
Their Zen, their ping-pong, their yin and yang-ese.

I like Chinese, I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees.

Heheheh... very appropriate indeed.

Python were quite ahead of their time... or nothing's changed at all really!
