Oh, you think the Boomers are bad? If my generation (I'm currently 20) had it's way, it'd be 10x worse.... The mindless consumption of consumerist bilge is an explanation in itself...

Ok, so I'm not perfect myself, but who is? I appreciate the concept of walking (and will do it if a place is within walking distance. In the future if there's no transport and I have to go there, I will walk.

You can't blame anyone for living a high standard of living if its available.

I'm 28 and I'm not gonna blame the boomers for anything. I'd have done the same damn thing if I had had 60 years to comsume resources.

People are not normally gonna live in poverty by choice. We are headed to lower living standards but it sure won't be by choice.
