Today, in Africa, the average man has a couple wives and a couple girlfriends. nost families are raised by single women, all compete for attentions of the men.
The men like it.
Aids rate is in some places 40 percent.

(My friend goes on hunting safarris and recently returned from there, they are AIDS a dime a dozen.)

That is not my kind of Polygyny, not the Semetic kind at least. A man must be faithful to his Wife/s. And a virgin was the preffered bride, divorce was allowed, but discuraged by society.

But having out of marrage relationships (for men or women) is not smart these days. Sorry to hear that reputedly some African people "just don't get it."

I also find it hard to beleive that a co-wife would be sexualy satified with a man who services so many females, and may encourage her to "jump fences" to find satisfaction.... that sets up both sides for pemiscuity, and vectors for HIV/ STD's.
