A 'historic' quote, from Thomas Edison, for the PO community

I don't know if the community knows this quote, but I just found it and it's a nice one:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '&')quot;I'd put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don't have to wait 'til oil and coal run out before we tackle that." ~Thomas A. Edison

Found it here: link
Could be useful in texts about PO / alt.energy, etc... - as in "see, way back, even Edison knew it would come to this".

This one from Aldous Huxley is not too bad either:

"Man is his own Martian, at war against himself. Overbreeding and extractive agriculture are his weapons and, though he may not know it, his war aims are the ravaging of his planet, the destruction of his civilization and the degradation of his species."

The Edison quote is one of the ones TheOilDrum.com uses. They have a selection of rotating quotes that appear in the top right corner of the page. Every time you refresh the page, a different quote appears. There are some really good ones.
