Guest - In our defence I'd point out that some of us have lived more carefully than others with regard to what we consume.

I'm personally hoping my body will be fit as food for birds of prey.

Now this thread is an over-generalized and overly anti-american. If americans are unfit for eating, I'd hate to think of all the Russians and Chinese living off of land that is bathed in chemicals. And if I remember correctly, many European rivers died years ago and have yet to really come back.
