I see there are way more males here than females...and I don't want to stereotype but I'd guess that other forums here like "economics" have a higher male/female ratio than the psychology forum 8)

I have a very feminine name bc they way I write online ppl would always assume that I am "male"...I think caring about politics, economics, etc are still considered male interests (remember we weren't allowed an opinion on these topics decades ago).

I've looked at internet demographics, and there are alot more males online than females. The ratio is closer to male/female 65/35.
