Can you write a novel in 30 days?

Unread postby katkinkate » Sat 29 Oct 2005, 05:24:11

November is interNational Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)!

Anyone interested in writing a novel? Has to be minimum of 50 000 words, has to be completed by end of November to qualify for NaNoWriMo certificate and cool stickers and stuff. Lots of support given through the forums and workshops. :o

I've started one the last 2 years, but so far been unable to finish. But maybe this year Jerusalem! Everybody welcome.

NaNoWriMo - No plot? No problem!
Kind regards, Katkinkate

I can. Prolific writer and have written several books, but not usually in under 30 days! I think writing is a catharsis for me, I'd probably go crazy if I couldn't put stuff "down". But I don't have time to do this anymore.

I'm strangely interested. It's 10:35 p.m. local time on the 31st. Let me think about it until tomorrow.

No, actually I haven't read it. But you can buy it through the NaNoWriMo home page. I was using it in its incarnation as a logo for the activity.

Have you read it? If so, what were your thoughts?

I haven't read it, that's why I was interested, plots for me, are an area I wish I could tighten up... mine suck.
