cat on keyboard

Postby actionreplay » Mon 31 Oct 2005, 13:18:13

My cat is powerdown-aware - she used to try and sit on the keyboard. Now she also sits on my newspaper when I try to read it, or my writing pad when I try to write things down. :-D

She's also a very effectiveelectricity-free pest control service :-D

My cat Thomas has been acting kinda weird for the last week too. He keeps jumping on my desk and getting in the way (posing) infront of the monitor. He is doing this 4-5 times a day...

weird animals eh?

I have a cat thats fat, he just sits there and watches me browse the forum. I suggest if your cat is bothering you just pick it up and throw it out the nearest window, if it lives (depending what life its on) it will be sure not to bother you anymore!

Cheers! 8)

nah kitty never really bothers me. :) I was getting a bit down from all the doomer posts so thought I'd post a light-hearted thread :). And thinking that pets are actually handy to have round as rodent catchers, or in the case of dogs, guards etc.

Doomers should consider that even a small, relatively placid dog keeps intruders away as loads of people are terrified of dogs, your local criminal fraternity included (this is the UK where not many of them have guns, and even if they do, don't fancy using one to prise a terrier off their ankle).

Cats are great animals to have post peak.

Worst comes to worst you can easily roast them over a fire on spit like you would a rabbit.

I've always wondered how big snakes would fare post peak. I may unfortunately have to find out.

You bastard! That's kitty abuse!!! May your cat cough up a hairball on your keyboard before he leaves you for a more deserving servant.

I was joking the other day and told one of my kids we could probably get a couple of steaks off our cat. She walked over and told the neighbour (a cat lover) I was going to roast our cat... I have so much explaining to do...

I'm sure dogs can be trained to be great rodent hunters.

If you can train your cat to bring back his kills, you could cook the rodent and give him his share.

mmmmm tasty! :-D Seriously my cat already brings back her kill - sometimes I could do without the "offerings" at the window!
