Interesting... you can tell that peak oil theory is really starting to seep into pop culture when it shows up as part of a "viral marketing" campaign for a video game.

This is apparently for a new game called "Shadow of the Colossus". It came up in a forum on another site as being a cryptozoology discovery, but someone in the thread pointed out the game connection. I was sort of amused that they decided to tie in peak oil as part of the subplot.
