"Robert Duvall seems to have gotten his start there."
Robert Duvall was 'Boo' in 'to Kill a Mockingbird in 1962. Was that before the Outer Limit episode he was in?
I agree great series. I was a little tyke. We even had Outer Limit trading cards. I can't remember what show was on night Gallery, T.Z. or Outer Limits.
An added note: these well known series weren't the only ones around at the time. There were a half dozen others and they have been released on DVD in the last couple years. One was hosted by Boris Karloff (I can't think of the name) and another was called 'Chillers'...another, a bit different and pseudo-documentary was 'One Step Beyond'. and there was a British series on Canadian TV, I don't know the name but the stories were a horror-T.Z. blend. It started out with a turning carousel (like at a fair) in the credits. I don't know the name but some British poster might know.
We found all these lesser known series (except the British one) as cheap box sets at Walmart, etc. for a couple dollars.
