The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

Yes!

People thank god for their own achievements, you know "I'd like to thank mummy and daddy and God".

IT is too close to the truth. I know people (I know I've said it before but I still can't get over it) that think the earth is only 6,000 years old. Not 6 million or 600,000, just 6,000.

They also believe that dinosaurs roamed the planet the same time humans did. As in go to the town qwell, and damn if there isn't a T-rex standing there hogging it.

I'm actually related to these people, had the same education they did. I know they didn't grow up in some far off commune in east africa. but they choose willingly to believe outright garbage! 8O

Had to laugh at your shock and horror.

You know, I often think that people will never 'believe' peak oil, not even way down the slope.

But I bet they will 'believe' that we never went to the moon.

Incredible

Some people don't like what science teaches them. The world's going to have problems with petroleum or evolution or Rushton's work's. Imagine that science could actually help us to understand and had helped us to understand. We just need to have faith..........
Peace out!

And here we go for another Dark Age..500 years of progress throwed away :( !

What a pity to scale back at such level..so much sacrifices all for nothing..I can almost already smell the odor of burning flesh in the air  ...

Gotta to hide my books 8O !

We should setup a half barrel of oil on the alter and whorship & pray to it. Forget about using science to solve our problems. That might help. [smilie=XXking.gif]
