Well I am one heavily armed liberal, so that should tell you where I stand on the gun issue.

As far as abortion, I think that there are circumstances in which it might be necessary, but it should be rare, but not restricted. I believe the govt needs to stay out of our bedrooms and our bodies.

But I AM all for 'socialized' medicine, or free health care for all..as a former medic, what else would you expect me to feel? :p

I think that putting too much trust in the govt for anything is a VERY dangerous thing.

I think that you are right..when people are totally diametrically opposed, then there is nothing but arguing and debate going on, but when some of the interests and opinions are similiar, but others are different, there can be some common ground, without having things get too boring. ;)

@auctionmonster:
Yep, Ms. Lefty Palm treats me real well. I get some whenever I want it, and I have variation. Fast, slow, tight, or loose. However I feel like it at the time. :) Can't get much better than that. :) Plus, I never get bitched at if I come home late or get drunk. It also never denies my satisfaction. :)

@medicvet:

So how are you a liberal again? To me you sound like a fence sitter. with some beliefs in the left, but some on the right. Other than the issue of free medical care, that is pretty much my stance on things. Considering that there is at least one member of the opposite sex that agrees with me politically, I now assume there is more with the same beliefs. However, I don't really think they would be in the 20-24 age range, it seems that most women in this range are too liberal. Maybe I should wait 10 years, and then start looking at the dating game. After all, I've been out of it for 5 years, so what's another 10? Not very long.

yeah, it was a bad decision, if i hadn't had a few drinks beforehand i wouldn't have tried it. i'm not sure what brand it was, all i know was it wasn't in a pouch, it was just loose leaf. and it tasted like blueberry/winterfresh or something like that.

since then i've decided to cut back drastically on drinking.... whenever i have a bit, i end up doing idiotic things like that.

as for tobacco in general, i have 1 cigar/week, which i enjoy tremendously (but never inhale). i also tried nicorette gum as a study aid, and it did help me focus but made me too dizzy and left a bad taste in my mouth, so i probably won't use it again.
