I put 2-4. I "read the news" for 1-4 hours a day, much like most people watch TV. I just don't like TV for some reason. Anyway, I read maybe three news sources and about five message boards for my news every day, and most days I spend 2-3 hours reading about the events of the day. I think that's a bit much for most people, and I'd expect that most people spend less than one hour a day reading about what's happened that day.
I don't spend 2-4 hours a day just on po.com, it's one of six or seven sites that I have open at a time, and I flip back and forth between them catching an interesting thread here and there. There was a time about a year ago when I was really digging in to the information out there that I spent 4-5 hours a day on it, but I think I've read enough to determine that now is the time for action, and not endless reading.
