$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', 'E')ver send anybody a PM? I send them to people here in this forum and what I've noticed is that some people will respond and some people, for whatever reason, won't respond. My PMs are always (well almost always) friendly. The posts you make are to an audience, but PMs are to a specific person. There really is a big difference. I can say that no one who has ever sent me a PM has ever failed to get an answer from me, and to everyone who has communicated with me in this fashion, I say thank you, it's been a pleasure to hear what you have to say and a pleasure to respond.

For the records:

Mr. PMS PM:d me and I replied without hesitation or delay.

Interesting topic. It's pretty rude not to answer a private message, if it's polite and non-invasive in nature.

Spec OP is that you? I like the pants. Great for when Depends don't quite cut it..

You know, it dons on me that Spec Op stands for "Special Operations". But Spec-Op, are you sure that you shouldn't change your name to Very-Spec-Op?

The Onion--"Very Special Forces"

We are going to win the war," said Pvt. Richie Ammaker of Hagerstown, MD, eating his snack cup with a Capri-Sun juice-pak. "I love to clap and sing along to the music!"

"Colonel Gene [Diering] says that if we take out the communications tower in Al Basrah, we can have a pizza party," Pvt. Josh Paretsky of Dallas said. "Pizza party! Pizza party! Pizza party!"

"You're pretty," Paretsky added. "Will you marry me?"

Gen. Thomas Merritt, who is in charge of overseeing Operation Great Job!, said the troops are thoroughly prepared for what lies ahead.
