$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Keith_McClary', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('k_semler', 'P')sst. You do realize that the 1994 AWB did expire last year at 0:01:00 on Sept 13. Now the only firearms laws regarding aesthetics, (not function), is 18 USC § 922(r), 18 USC § 925(d)(3), and 27 CFR § 478.39.
Say what?
I think he means that the trigger-happy gun-nuts are free to go crazy now.

Not really, the 34 NFA, 38 FFA, 68 GCA, and the 86 FOPA still are applicable. Plus, the pointless 89 bush ban. Until every single one of these are repealed, we cannot "go crazy" with firearms. Until 18 USC Chap 44, and 26 USC Chap 52 are repealed in thier entierty, we will not be truly free. These may be of interest to you:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'B')efore a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword, because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States.

200 years ago you're sitting in rural/small-town America (where most people lived) and the tyrannical feds show up to arrest your neighbor. You and your other neighbors know he's a good guy, so you get "up in arms" and run off the feds.

Today you're sitting in your urban residence and the feds show up to haul your neighbor off to GITMO. They tell you he is a terr'ist/subversive/radical/liberal/whatever. You believe them, leave your "peece" on the rack, and go back to watching Faux News.

I don't live within 14 miles of any town that is over 1,000 people. Colton just got over 350 people, and I live 4.2 miles outside of the city limits of it. It was actually announced on KQQQ when 3 people were added to the town census. I think it was just a single-child family moving in. (Actually I know it was). We recently got a neighbor a mile away, and I have no idea who they are. Nor do I care. They sure do ride thier motercycles around the county roads at wreckless speeds quite often though.

Plus, I don't trust MSM news sources, unless I can verify it online, or the radio. TV news is so full of crap, that I'm suprised TVs don't shoot sparks because of all the spewing drivel. Also, I am related to my neighbors, so I would go to thier defense if nessecary, (if they didn't do something I didn't disagree with such as murder, {if it was murder, the Sheriff would be on the phone post-haste, and I would be keeping him off of my land using any and all force nessecary.})

Google Maps puts you at Line St. and Fountain St. in Colton.

But your situation is more like 200 years ago. Not typical of how 99% of people live today.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Raphael', '[')b]If I were President, Furher, Dictator, Savior ...

I would give every 3RD World Developing Country the same fucking ultimatum.

I would tell them they had two choices.

On their northern, southern and western borders the Coalition Forces had amassed themselves. We would be willing to spend, I would tell them, in excess of the 300 billion we had spent in Iraq...forcing our vision on them.
We would do this of course by blowing everything up. Turning their country into a toxic DU soup.

OR

On their eastern borders where the Sun always rises, we would spend the same amount, perhaps more to ensure that the developing world does not follow our foolish western path. We would create an infrastructure of sustainability, and liberate them not from Saddam but an energy dependency.

The second choice is a green vision.
The first option is 'business as usual'.

The Nature Goddess beckons her return.

That's what I would do to those fuckin' people....who I recognize simply as human beings created equal.

Is this difficult stuff to follow?

Namaste
How about staying in the US where you belong and leaving the rest of us in peace? I guess that's not an option - you need our oil etc.

Yep, I was too lazy to look up the exact coordinates of where I park my ass at night. I just got the town hall coordinates. Here are my exact coordinates if you must know: 117.23362596W 46.60730522 N. Not like I have much to worry about if you are a Fed. If you have been tracking me, you have no doubt traced me to this location anyway. If you stand at those coordinates, you will be standing at my computer room door. There you go, close enough to my exact location for an assasination with a butter knife. (If you could manage to get in here).

EDIT: Where the hell is line street? I can't find it in the phone book map. Is it going to the church, or to the school? Town hall is on Hwy 195, about 50 yards up the street from the post office, and across from the park. Go figure, I don't know the name of streets around here even though I lived here all my life. I know where fountain street, Hwy 195, and Union street are though. The rest are just there as far as I am concerned. I know how to get to the vet for my dog, but I don't know what street it is. (Not like it would be hard to find anyways, drive around until you find "Colton Veterinary Clinic". Should take you about 2 miniutes if you just start at the nearest block.

I think I would nominate all comedians for my cabinet. Folks Like Jon Stewart, Jenine Garaffalo, and Bill Maher are known to have the passionate opinons on what Bush is doing wrong and how we should run the country. I would give them full power and authority once they have proved their worth by managing a WALMART for 1 week and having all registers balance out.

I would also make Brad Pitt Secretary of State because he once vowed to end the violence in Palestine and Israel, we should let him have a crack at it.

I'll also make a constitutional amendment that in the the majority whip would be whoever People Magazines "Sexiest Man Alive" is this year.

And finally, Free Cheeseburgers to the Elderly.
If you give a man a fish you will have kept him from hunger for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I'd declare myself Emperor of the United States, I'd outlaw the Republican and Democrat parties and forbid the Congress from meeting. The, I'd call all the governors and military leaders and lay out my agenda.

I'd lower taxes
Encourage the building of freight and passengerrail by increasing fuel taxes
I'd make Roman Catholicism the official religion of the nation :)
I'd build a railroad bridge across the Bering Strait, connecting Alaska and Russia, just to prove it can be done.
Make a new currency completely controlled by the new regime (no more Federal Reserve)
Order all new power plants to be nuclear (or wind, if you really want to), ban the new construction of new coal or natural gas plants
Outlaw labor unions and eliminate minimum wage
Eliminate most wefare, both personal and corporate
Begin phase-out of Social Security
Get rid of all federal firearm laws, and demand the states do the same (hmmm, maybe that isn't such a good idea for a dictator usurping a democracy)
Affirm property rights
End expensive and fruitless "war on drugs"

Generally, more right-wing stuff 8)

I read "Line St." off Google Maps, it was pretty fine print tho. Just put your previous coords (I don't have them anymore) into Google Maps.

Your new coords put you 1/4 mile off Wawawai Rd. I notice the patches of land around you on Google Maps (Satellite) have dramatically different colours. What's going on there to cause that? A bit OT, but don'tcha love small towns? Here they repaved main street and sidewalks in '03. They forgot to replace the "angle parking" signs. The locals know which way to park, and most tourists seem to figure it out. I suppose if I mentioned this to town council, they would put up signs.

Those should protect you as long as you don't have any oil or valuable minerals under your land. Otherwise, prepare to camp out in the Astrodome or GITMO.

 Actually, "black" helicopters do exist. The "black paint" is radar absorbing so they cannot be detected at an altitude. Skunk works do some magical shit, don't they? :) I want some of that for my car. Then the county mounties couldn't get the speed of my vehicle. I wonder how much the paint costs, and if civies can purhase it? :?

I will have to do that, eventually. Maybe somebody I know used to live there. :) I haven't talked to anyone in town since I graduated high school.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Keith_McClary', 'Y')our new coords put you 1/4 mile off Wawawai Rd. Yep, that would be about right. It takes a long time to get to town during the winter to get the dog's pills. And now you know why I can use my driveway as a shooting range, (Unless it is a center fire rifle, then I use the hill behind my house as a backstop.)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Keith_McClary', 'I') notice the patches of land around you on Google Maps (Satellite) have dramatically different colours. What's going on there to cause that?

Around here, the crops that are grown are wheat, alfalfa, oats, peas, and lentils. Different vegetation has different colors when viewed, (even from the ground).

I like being able to urinate in the middle of my yard if I want, (and I do sometimes if I am too lazy to go get the mixed Round-Up), and being able to use my driveway as a shooting range. About the only part I really don't like about it is that the commute absolutly sucks during the winter, (45 miniutes to Pullman sometimes). :x Oh yeah, and those asshats up the road that ride thier motercycles up the road around 23:00 every weekend. One of these days, the gravel is going to be grated, and they will have serious road rash. Hmm, do you know if the county will let you grade the roads with private equipment? That just may work to get thier wreckless asses to slow down. :) I get gravel from the pit just down the road whenever I need it. I figure the taxes I pay more than pay for the less than 150 lbs I take a year. (for driveway work, it's not like I sell the shit). ;)
