Petrol / LPG in the UK

Unread postby spot5050 » Mon 12 Sep 2005, 23:14:43

A friend of mine bought an LPG Range Rover about 3 weeks ago so he's sitting pretty now.

But ironically he has yet to be convinced about peak-oil.

I'm driving a petrol car whilst debating peak-oil with an LPG-driving Range Rover owner!

He moved to LPG instead of staying with petrol because petrol has gone from 30p to 100p / litre in a short space of time.

Any LPG links appreciated thanks. esp in South Cheshire.

I think you can be subsidised by the government 10% or so in the UK if you convert your car to LPG. Unfortunately my mum can't be bothred, she has a high mpg anyway
