$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('LadyRuby', 'S')eriously, though, it must be hard for hard core peak oilers to develop new romantic relationships. I mean, most people, maybe Americans especially, think that having fun with a potential partner is pretty important. If you start talking about PO too soon, the other person is likely to take you for a survivalist lunatic and go running, or at the very least find that it's not too fun to hang around you.
At the same time I know PO is on my mind a lot, as I assume it is for others here, and it would be hard not to bring it up. I guess in that respect those of us who had spouses before we really understood PO are lucky, because our spouses know us, know we're not terminally pessimistic or lunatic. Or if they do they're kind of stuck with us (unless they choose not to be, of course).
Yes, I think single peak oilers, more than the average Joes, would need some extra help forming relationships, and meeting others of like minds could be helpful.
wait a minute! The non poers are drama wack jobs. If drama and wasting time is your bag stay mainstream. Its ALL drama queens. Men and women. This aint no disney land over here. Its all REAL adventure.
