This thread was a retort to the one about Cheney et. al. leading "charmed" lived "while the poor rot". In truth, I believe Cheney himself came from a very modest background.

I wanted to point out that not only are these rich whities leading charmed lives, so are many rich blacks, who are not making any more than token (haha!) efforts to help their brothers and sisters in this.

Maybe this time, Ophrah will buy everyone in NO a new Pontiac once she hears how bad it is. Not sure where they will drive it to or how they will even fill the gas tank, but that is another celebrity's cause d'jour.
