I’m just guessing,

Prices EVERYWHERE in Europe going up since the euro came in, and salaries going notably down. (maybe they blame it on the Euro and is it to be blamed on gas prices, or both things)

Israel building a concrete wall and evacuating Gaza. Get all your people behind a wall of protection is one of man’s oldest ways to protect a community. Coincidence? They’ve kept all the arable land and water resources inside the wall. (If you do it do it well)

China building the highest hydro plant in history and making a train till Lasha (Tibet) where there is absolutely nothing but huge mountains oh, is also a region rich in minerals needed for setting up nuclear plants.
