How many more years of pleateau would you wish for?

It's PO, right? It's not the end of oil yet, but that cliff is gonna come sooner or later. Putting your best plans for preperation (whatever, however they are), just how many more years (or months?) do you wish for , so that you have that one fighting chance to rate yourself as prepared for the cliff-off?

E.g. you may wish for 2 more years so that at least there are jobs there to rid your debt. Or buy that farm. Or build that skill. Or burn into a community?

What's your personal timeline?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('0mar', 'M')ore time means a harder future.

Yeah, 0mar, I have to agree. But what's the balance here? Too soon and each of us PO'ers may not make it (that's a serious alternate topic : accepting death for ourselves as part of ZPG planning, or part of the 80% die-off). Too far and we're absolutely consuming ourselves crazy.

It's a damned hard question. I sure can dream, can't I?

I would like 3 years. I expect the good times will be over by 2008, and from here on out it will get progressively worse, and it's kind of bad now...
