Things are worst than most of us imagine

Those lovely travelogs by Geldov on BBC show nothing of the reality in Africa and probable in other parts of this planet.

Things appear to be bad and getting worst. Most of us have no clue what is going on.

Take a look here for a small glimps of the disaster

Photos Capture Human Footprint on Africa

The photo I see there makes me really sad how disasterous our "footprints" are on OUR planet. [smilie=5shocking.gif]

yep we are in gods image. remember that. Pure shit.
and also they have studied the air patterns. It seems the industrialized countries air traveling pollution goes to africa. who knows what this does besides having water molecules attach to the industrial particulates and doesnt fall. But africans overbred and white man seems to do the wrong solutions. giving food instead of just givng them the means to better their society. its a sad sad tragic situation. the wildlife will suffer the same fate as the humans and are first in line to go. africa is brutal these droughts clean out the gene pools however. So its not as bad as we think yet. It does have cleansing effect. however the humans are taking all the resources so its a very unbalanced situation now compared to in the past. nature does these cleanses periodically. keeps the vegatation healthy. now they are being driven more and more by human greed and growth. they breed like germs. Humans basically are overbreeders and parasitic now. the noble strong predator phase is well over.
I am saddend beyond description to waht is going to happen over the next decade.

Probably (at least for me) because people with AIDS (usually) could have prevented it themselves. Its really simple not to stick your willy in other people without proper measures.

The hippos are completely innocent in their plight. Its *entirely* OUR fault their stuck like they are. They are truly a victim of circumstances.

The hippo kills more people in Africa than any other mammal, but I've never seen them do anything like this to humans.

I dunno..maybe there is something wrong with me. I still grieve more over people than animals.

Save the hippos!

Screw irrigation. If you can't figure out how to dig a well, don't force the hippos to suffer.

We have no right to harm those beautiful creatures.

Hopefully the human dieoff in these countries is quick and without chaos. Otherwise more hippos will suffer the same fate as these unfortunate but majestic beasts.

^my first reaction.

The following is my more rational observation after the emotional outburst.

Why don't the starving Africans eat the hippos instead of wasting the hippos' water supply on irrigation?
