')100,000 has always been the spin put on by liberal doing reporting. Why? because its a nice round number, and its a BIG round number.
In the beginning of the war you could find estimates ranging from around 10,000 to around 100,000.


OK then, if you don't go with the 100,000 I will concede you the 30,000. I will only concede so we can move on regarding Bush lying about going to war. It doesn't change things.

I dont have to google shit, I've studied the hell out of it. Yes its a health risk. So is lead. So is mercury. So is diesel fuel. READ THE THREAD I LINKED TO. It dispels all this nasty media hyped lies about DU.

As for WMD's, UN reports as late as 96 (I think, maybe 95) reported Saddam had WMND programs which werent reported, and was working on WMD's.
I cant find the actual documents (I have seen them, its a hell of a read) but heres a news article....

The point is this. Saddam was given the ultimatum from the UN. He REPEATEDLY disregarded it.

Saddam broke the rules as laid out by the UN. The UN kept pussyfooting around with paperwork, which we all know doesnt work.
Bush came in and handled it. You do the crime, you do the time. Iraq was invaded, Saddam removed from power and a democratic government is being installed.

If we though there were WMDs there, then why take out the inspector.
Why remove 4,000 pages from the Iraq dossier. Oops, don't want to expose the companies that provided the materials for the WMDs.
Why use FAKE satellite images saying -- lookie here -- a weapons lab.

In case you didn't know, DU is different than mercury and diesel fuel. I think it has something to do with -- radiation poisoining.

I have mentioned the issue of anthrax to the Council on previous occasions and I come back to it as it is an important one.

Iraq has declared that it produced about 8,500 litres of this biological warfare agent, which it states it unilaterally destroyed in the summer of 1991. Iraq has provided little evidence for this production and no convincing evidence for its destruction.

There are strong indications that Iraq produced more anthrax than it declared, and that at least some of this was retained after the declared destruction date. It might still exist. Either it should be found and be destroyed under UNMOVIC supervision or else convincing evidence should be produced to show that it was, indeed, destroyed in 1991.

Most would tend to agree the UN isnt "right wing" but actually quite the opposite.
having provided links to UN documents in regards to WMD's....Well..... What more do you want of me? I cant dance very well, so dont ask. :P

Aside from that. About the only thing that makes me a Republican is wanting lower taxes and gun rights. Otherwise, I'm all for conservation of the environment, alternative (renewable) energy sources, etc etc.
